Welcome to the Montague Rose,
a Thoughtfully Restored Historic Home

Enjoy traditional charm with modern comfort in our historic inn, located in the charming seaside town of Saint Andrews. We have 5 uniquely designed guest rooms and coffee, smoothies and breakfast sandwiches can be purchased from Nummy Cafe on the ground floor. The inn is located within a 3 minute walk to town centre. Unwind with a glass of wine on our 40ft front deck, or just relax in a beautiful air conditioned room. We also offer full house rental and event bookings.

“Zainub and Ben are superbly accommodating and enormously welcoming. The Montague Rose has everything you need and want: elegance, quiet, and warmth. The beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. The spacious property is slightly elevated, which means we had a gorgeous view of the sunset over the Passamaquody Bay and the chance to see some deer meandering across the lawn. It’s perfectly located—a very short walk to the city centre and the water. Try the high tea they serve in the attractive dining room!”

We offer full house rental with access to the Tea Room and large private back yard, perfect for weddings and events!

about us

We’re Zainub & Ben

A family of five standing outdoors among pine trees in a forest during autumn or winter, with the mother holding a baby and the father and two young children standing beside them.

In 2021 we left our lives on the West Coast to invest fully in the Montague Rose. We’ve been carefully renovating each space while taking care of three kids born 2020,2022, and 2024. The Montague Rose is our home and we understand this restoration project will be lifelong. Come and share the journey with us, the deer and the friendly locals of Saint Andrews.
